We continue consolidating the MEOC in our operation with the participation of leaders and collaborators.
This model enables us to work on our competitiveness and achieve improvements in the production process which add value to the end product and are recognised by our customers. Since 2021, our team has been training on Lean Management practices and implementing them in the operation, leaving a footprint in Citrusvil’s organisational culture.
In 2022, we developed a work team in order to apply what we have learned and spread our knowledge and practices throughout the organisation.
Through the progress in the MEOC, we managed to focus on priority issues in our activities, such as troubleshooting, identification of anomalies, the correct treatment of deviations and process standardisation.
The teams adopted these management tools. Each sector, both in the industrial plants and in the fields, use “Management Boards” where they share the KPI (Key Perfomance Indicators) of each area.
“With the implementation of the MEOC, we developed an agreed and systematised working method which enables our work teams to be more independent having a comprehensive view of the processes. These practices that we have adapted our activity and dynamics contribute to increasing productivity and reducing costs and promote sustainable growth”, explained Sebastián Dopico, member of the MEOC team.
“The MEOC enables us to provide more value to our customers, by means of the excellence in our production and end product, being efficient and always managing the points of improvement”, said César Romero, member of the MEOC team.
About Lean Management
Main Principles:
Growing MEOC
“Our challenge for 2024 consists in keeping training the internal team of the MEOC towards its professionalisation because it will be in charge of expanding the model and adding areas in the organisation to its implementation. This set of tools and methodologies guarantees the path towards continuous improvement”, stated Diego Moyano, member of the MEOC team.
